Lois McKENZIE Obituary

Passed peacefully in the care of the Hawthorndale Care Village on Sunday, July 20, 2025, aged 83 years. Much loved, devoted and cherished wife of Lex (Alexander Kenneth) for 63 years. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Russell and Rosemarie McKenzie, Warren and Kerri-Anne McKenzie, and Deborah and Mark Hamill. Dearly loved and treasured Grandma of Blair and Kerryn Hamill, Joshua and Sara Hamill; Ashley McKenzie Munar and Charles Fortuno Munar, Emily Hamill, Charlotte and Jeremy Collins, James McKenzie and Jade Petch. Much loved Great-Grandma of Mason McKenzie, Isabella Hamill, and Lucy Hamill. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill and Muriel* Reid, Anita* and Douglas Stewart, and Dorothy* and George* Woodrow. Loved Aunty of her nieces and nephews. Family sincerely thank the team of Hawthorndale Care Village and Rowena Jackson for their dedication and care of Lois. A service for Lois will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, 1.00pm at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill. Interment will follow.
