Don Sinclair

Yes I first meet Lloyd Ward with his business partner a guy with a surname of Sinclair back in 1973, they sure where hard case guys. Lloyd was raised in Port Chalmers and served a panelbeating apprenticeship with the late Lerwick Johnson who was the created of Bridgeman Street Panelbeaters which was in Bridgeman Street South Dunedin. Lloyd then went to work at Russell's in Gore and then he teamed up with Sinclair and they created Ward and Sinclair.
Lloyd was a guy that made things happen and I enjoyed working with Lloyd and Sinclair during my twenty years I was the panelbeating and Welding Tutor at Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin.
Lloyd was never afraid of a hard days work, and one could always have a good laugh with him.
May that road rise before you Lloyd, and you walk down it to your maker, rest in peace my friend.
