Lesley BROOKLAND Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of darling Lesley who was Promoted to Glory on July 9, peacefully at home after a short illness, two days after her 70th birthday. Dearly beloved and treasured wife of Bob. Adored mother of the late Karl and cherished grandmother of Kalysta, Niko and Saskia. Dear friend of Victoria and Daryl, Frank and Tracey, Jason and Suzanne and their children. A service to celebrate Lesley's life will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 177 Linwood Avenue, Christchurch on Saturday, July 15, at 10.00am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army Linwood Corps, would be appreciated and may be left at the service.

I was so very sad to hear of Lesley's passing - she was far too young. I have very fond memories of our fun times at JHHS along with Dianne - we had a wonderful friendship.
