Tragically passed away from a motorcycle accident on August 8, 2025, in Montana, USA, aged 72 years. Beloved husband of Kathy and loved stepdad of Paul* and Gesina, cherish Pop of Abigail, Maia, Zoey, and Jessie. Loved brother of Megan, Gay, and Wayne. Great brother-in-law of Judy*, Shona, and Sue, and their partners. A fond uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A good mate to his many friends. A memorial service to celebrate Les' life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Saturday, August 30 at 2.00pm. We are very sorry to hear of Les' passing Kath. A shock to receive the news via Ian. We watched the service on TV today, thinking of you and the family. Such a tragedy for you while enjoying an amazing trip in the US. I had only met Les the one time, 2006 from memory, and the service filled in a lot of gaps for me.
