Peacefully, on October 6, 2024; aged 94 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Gerard (Jerry), much loved mother and mother-in-law of Lesley and John* Tippett, Brian and Linda, Grant and Denise. Cherished grandma of Simon and Hilda, Anna and Jamie, Trent and Stephanie, Bradley and Thomas and a loved great-grandma. A special thanks to the amazing staff of Rowena Jackson. I have often thought about "Aunty Leita'' over the years & especially this year after Mum (Joy) passed away in May. I just 'googled' her & saw this sad news. Extending my deepest condolences to you all. I have really fond memories of this lovely lady & the hospitality extended by her & the rest of the family, to my family when we lived in Invercargill.

Fond memories of Leita from her life long friend Bessie Simpson. As Bessie´s daughter I know they shared many happy times while their children grew up at Mataura Island and in later life a number of overseas travelling adventures. Thinking of you all at this sad time Lesley,Brian and Grant.
