(nee McIntosh):
Peacefully at Lake Wakatipu Care Centre, Queenstown, on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, aged 96 years. Dearly beloved wife of Owen*, much loved and cherished mother and mother-in-law of Liz and Rob (Queenstown), Vicki (Brisbane), Charles* and Nellie (Invercargill), loved and devoted Nana LouLou of Karly and Brendon, Tamzyn and Mark, Nathan and Vale; Joel, Ellissa and Luke; Tracy and Nikkoli, and loved great-Nana of Reeve and Emily, Harper, Darrian, Cooper, Olivia-Grace; Ruby, Rocco and Jake. A special thank you to all the staff at the Lake Wakatipu Care Centre for the wonderful care of Mum.
If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane,
we would walk right up
to Heaven and bring you
back again.
A service to celebrate Laura's life will be held in St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Ardwrick Street, Gore, on Monday, May 16, at 11.00am. Private interment to follow. Messages to 36 Wynyard Crescent, Fern Hill, Queenstown, 9300, or email [email protected]. Livestream link

To Liz & Vicki, was a lovely service today to honour & celebrate Auntie Laura´s life - every moment made special by her wicked sense of humour & enthusiasm for everything!
- I´m particularly glad I got to chat with her at Parata in Jan 2020,
when Alaa & I were staying in Gore briefly.
- it was an honour to take part in the live stream service today.

So very sorry to see the passing of your mother. I was under the impression she had passed years ago.
Your mum and dad were very good to me and we had lots of great times together both in Gore & Kaka Point.
