Kyah KENNEDY Obituary

KENNEDY,
Kyah Mikaere John:

Sunrise 21.12.2005
Sunset 22.4.2022

Taken tragically on April 22, 2022. Treasured son of Jayson and Lesley. Loved and idolised by his best friend and brother, Tyrese. Loved by sisters Shayla, Sydney and Jordan. Adored Mokopuna of John and Louise Kennedy*, Cherished by his Paka, Michael Tuhi. Adored by his Nanny Tina and Lindsay. Dearly loved Nephew, Cousin, Uncle, Mate and dedicated teammate of so many. Our hearts are broken. Our big blue-eyed beautiful boy has grown his wings far too soon.

koe kua whetūrangatia
ki te korowai o Ranginui
koe kua wehe atu ki te pō
Ki tua i te ārai
Ki te okiokinga
O ō tatou tīpuna
Haere, haere, haere
Moe Mai ra e mana tane
You who have been adorned as stars
In the heavens
You who have been departed to the night
Beyond the veil
To the resting place
Of our Ancestors
Farewell, farewell, farewell
Sleep our mana tane
