Kay SHEEHY Obituary

After a courageous battle with cirrhosis of the liver Kay passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Southland Hospital, aged 69 years. Devoted wife of Barrie for 48 years, beloved mother of Jason, Kylie, Darren, Rebecca, Brendan and Tammy. Special Grandma to Alyssa, Kaylee, Zoey, Jaxon and Tayla. Loved mother-in-law of Danielle, John, Meghan and Tracy. A service for Kay will be held at J Fraser and Sons Chapel, Corner Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, at 10.00am on Tuesday, November 5. I have fond memories of the family - babysat the children, Brendan and Rebecca were in my wedding, we had many phone conversations sorry we drifted away in later years, much sadness for the loss of your soulmate barrie and devoted mother of kylie jason, Darren Rebecca tammy brendan, such a special women to us all sorry I cant attend due to hubby's work but will think of you at this time.
