Peacefully at home on Wednesday, 6 September 2017, with her loving family be her side and after a valiant struggle, aged 71 years. Dearly loved wife of John for 54 years. Loving and devoted mother, mother-in-law and Granny of Linda and Steve, Samantha, and Kaycee Winsloe; Gillian and Darren Evans, Larissa and Paul Clarkson, and Aaron Evans; Iain and Lynley, Jessica, and Amber Watson; and Great-Granny of Arthur Clarkson. A service to celebrate Kate's life will be held in the Southland Crematorium Chapel, Rockdale Road on Monday, 11 September at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 16 Falcon Street, Invercargill 9812.
