(Kathy, Kate, Polly)
(nee Mainland):
Peacefully, on July 19, 2021, surrounded by her family; aged 77 years. Dearly loved wife of David for 57 years, much loved mother and mother in law of Donna Falconer and Peter Wright, Richard and Nikki, Brian and Rochelle, loved Granny of Matthew, and Bede; James, Thomas, and Abbey; Alex, Dion and Annie, loved sister and sister-in-law of Rita* and Ian Campbell, Edna* and John* Chisholm, Beth and Ian* Robson, Gay and Jack* Oliver, Joan Smith and John Smith, Allen Mainland, Matt and Caroline Mainland, Molly and Bryan Stevenson, June and Allan Ledington, sister in law of Neville* and Patricia Falconer, Douglas* and Clare Falconer, and Ron Falconer, also a loved Aunty to all her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff and careers of the Janefield and Braeside Units at Birchleigh Residential Care Centre, Mosgiel, for their wonderful care and support. A service for Kathy will be held in Campbell and Sons Chapel, 95 Gordon Road, Mosgiel, at 2.00pm on Friday, July 23, followed private cremation. Messages to 4 Boundary Road, Kinmont Park, Mosgiel 9024.

To David & family, we were very sad to read of Kathy's passing. We remember her as the vibrant garden enthusiast revamping her garden on the Downs & willingly sharing it with others.
