Karen WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Karen Rae. - At home after a courageous battle on Tuesday, 22 July 2014, aged 51 years. Much loved wife of Daryl and adored mother and mother-in-law of Carla, Shaun and Jane. Devoted Nana of Christian. Loved daughter of the late Mike (Spike) and Rae Jones and loved daughter-in-law of Eric and the late Stella Wilson. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Michael and Marlene, and Margaret, Raewyn and Tommy, David and Kay, and Barry and Judy, and sister-in-law of Trevor and Pam, and Gordon. A loved aunt and great-aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Special friend to many. A service to celebrate Karen's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Friday, 25 July, at 11.00am, the service will conclude with the burial at the Eastern Cemetery. karen we spent many years together as flatmates and friends. we hadnt seen each other for years and yet when we met up our friendship was just the same and you hadnt changed a bit. sending my love and hugs to your family.

It is hard to say goodbye and to share the memories of Karen from so far away but I know hundreds of people will be there to do that with Daryl, Carla and Shaun and support them through this very sad time. Karen has been an exceptional nurse and will be especially missed by those she worked closely with and provided care and support to during her 20 years of outstanding service at Walmsley House, Peacehaven Village and Supportlink.
