Karen SERVICE Obituary

Passed away peacefully on 8 January 2025, aged 68. Sister of Andrea and Ron. Mother of Ingrid and Greta and stepmother of Helen, Ben and the late Anna. Mother-in-law of Chris. Granny of Lockie, Vida, Topher, Brooklyn, Mardy and Willow and stepgranny of Ella. Donations in lieu of flowers to Alzheimers NZ would be appreciated. An intimate service was held on Friday, 10 January, preceding a private cremation.

Will miss you my dear friend, we may have lost contact over the years but you were never far from my thoughts. So many memories growing up, from Orawia to Ethel Street and the fun all us kids had in the street. Condolences to the family. Donna Gonscak & Mark Stevens

Farewell Karen, we will always treasure our childhood memories from when we were the Ethel St kids. Long hot summers, barbies at the beach, parents having long Sunday lunches on the back lawn. Water fights !!!. Expeditions all over Southland.
