June PRUE Obituary
(formerly Townsend,
nee McMillan):
Peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Ross Home, Dunedin, aged 77. Dearly loved wife of the late Lawrie Prue; dearly loved mother of Karl, Brett, and Megan; friend of Lawrie's family Lyn and Brian, dearly loved daughter of the late George and Annie McMillan (Morton Mains South); much loved sister and sister-in-law of Nancy and Bob Howe, the late Betty and Sam Doab, Shona and the late Mike Radford, and Peter (dec) and Sue McMillan; and greatly loved by her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and management of Ross Home who looked after June with great care and kindness. Messages may be addressed to 16 Fairview Tce, Sawyers Bay, Dunedin. A Memorial Service to celebrate June's life will be held at Ross Home, 360 North Road, North East Valley, Dunedin, on Wednesday, December 19, at 2.00pm.

Dear Mum.... I'll be lost without you hopefully for not to long. I can't stop thinking about you. Thanks so much for being such an amazing mother and so wonderfully kind and caring. I will never again experience that level of love again...and I'll miss that.

Deepest sympathies to the family of June ,or Gran as I knew her. I have very fond memories of staying with her in Oamaru, when I was a child. Her baking was amazing, just as memorable as her big smile. It was a pleasure to see each other again, at my brothers wedding a couple of years back. I regrettably can't make the service but my thoughts are with all the family at this time.
