On Sunday, 11 March 2018, surrounded by her loving family at Clare House after a short illness. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of the late Grayam McDermott (Winton). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Chris and Ruth McDermott, Alister and Hiromi McDermott, Nicola and Stephen Wilson and a loved Nana of Liam, Connor and Riley McDermott; Josh, Andy and Sophie McDermott; Isaac and Janelle Wilson. Dearly loved daughter of the late Les and Islay Smith. Very special and much loved sister and sister-in-law of *Bruce and *Margaret Smith, *Clare and *Bill Robson, *Rita and *Sid Clough, *Ethel and *Jack Cavanagh, *Bill and *Molly McDermott, *Len and *Joan McDermott, *Derene and *Jack Scott, *Myra and *Ray Carey, *Ron and *Audrey McDermott, *Norma and *Stewart Donald, Bev and *Doug Dixon, *Fay and *Sid Maginn. Loved auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service for Marian will be celebrated in the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Winton on Saturday 17 March at 11.00am. A private cremation will follow.
