Sorry we aren't there with you physically today but we are in spirit and know that there will be many a good story, tears and laughter shared in celebrating Judy's life.

Al and I first met Judy and Nip when we turned up at the family home at Wilcox Road late one Saturday night in several carloads  with Cheryl and Tony and a number of the racing fraternity, (needless to say we were all in various stages of intoxication) Judy welcomed us into her home with a  smile on her face and joined in with our banter making us feel very much at home.

When we think of Judy we think of her smile, cheeky glint in her eye and her impish sense of humour.  Characteristics that you see very clearly in all her children.

Judy's sense of humour was often demonstrated in ditty's that she wrote,  we were "privileged" to be her subject on more than one occasion.  One in particular was when Judy and Cheryl  conspired to teach me a lesson after I put my foot in my mouth when I made a derogatory comment about people who have gnomes in their gardens - not realising that Judy had several gnomes in her garden and that I had walked past them several times to get into their house.

After being away on holiday Al and I arrived home,  and as we walked in the door we were greeted by a wolf-whistle as we came through the front door and found that a whole gathering of gnomes had taken up residence in our home and partied for several days leaving empty beer bottles and debry all over the place with this note:

Message received Judy: " No messing with the Gnomies" we will always remember you with a smile.

We are thinking of you all today.
