Judith M. (Tevault) Brown

Evansville, Ind.

Judith M. (Tevault) Brown, 80, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Riverpointe Health Campus.

Judy was born in Evansville on May 12, 1937, to the late Harry and Betty (Lannert) Tevault.

Judy was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She was employed at Gallagher Niemeier Interiors. She was a 1955 graduate of Mater Dei High School.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Brown and Diane (Tony) Schmitt, all of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Debbie (Roger) Herr, of Chandler, Ind.; one son, Robert L. (Elizabeth) Brown IV, of Summerville, S.C.; two sisters, Patricia (Don) Bashaw, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Barbara (Tom) Moore, of Evansville; and one brother, Robert (Linda) Tevault. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Erik (Kim) Herr, Whitney (Michael) Brown McCarthy, Shane (Bethany) Schmitt, Ashley Schmitt, Trevor Schmitt, Ethan Herr, Bryce Herr, Hannah Brown and Robert L. Brown V; and five great-grandchildren, Christine Hunter, April and Caroline Herr and Aiden Burns.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert L. Brown, III in 2011.

Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Rev. Zack Etienne officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at Pierre Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PAAWS No Kill Animal Rescue, PO Box 115, Newburgh, IN 47629 or to Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2301 N. Stockwell Road, Evansville, IN 47715.
