Joy ST GEORGE Obituary
On July 17, 2024, peacefully at Oxford Court Lifecare, Dunedin; aged 82 years. Much loved Mum and mother-in-law to Tanya and Matt, Paul* and Mina, proud grandmother of Violet, Eli, and Elise, cherished sister and sister-in-law to Viv and Ian*, Max* and Rosemary, John* and Jan. Dear Auntie to Maree, Vaughan, Nigel, Wade, Leigh, Duncan, Andrew, and Tina. A big thank you to the staff at Oxford Court for the love and care shown to Joy. - A service to celebrate Joy's life will be held in Hope and Sons Chapel, 523 Andersons Bay Road, Dunedin, at 11.00am on Tuesday, July 23. Messages can be left on Joy's page at www.hopeandsons.co.nz, where you can also find a link to livestream the service.

Hi Tania and the family . I used to visit Joy occasionally at Oxford Court and only found out she had passed away several months ago when I went to see her . I just wanted to say what a special person Joy was , I have such fond memories of your family in Cargill St. watching you and Paul growing up , and our lovely Flo. , and then again in Hatfield St. when Joy got me back again to look after the house . I have lovely memories of those times . I think Joy will be happy that she can see Paul again , although she will be sorely missed by you and the rest of her family . take care , Fay Harvey
