Josephine HIBBS Obituary

Passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026, aged 60 years. A loved member of the PACT family, and friend to many. Josie was a courageous, resilient, bold and creative artist who touched many people's lives. A service to celebrate Josie will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 2.00pm at Lindisfarne Methodist Church, 22 Lindisfarne St, Invercargill, followed by a private interment. I well remember Josie as a young student while living in Riverton and being a teacher at Aparima College. Josie was such a talented artist and I well remember a caricature sketch she drew of me, which appeared later in the College's magazine. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and carers at this time.
