Jon...the bird! So much to catch up on but we didn't quite get around to it did we? Hope you rest well my old friend!

Dear Jon, I will miss you for as long as I live.
To Aly,Abby,Kerstie and V. as well as all the others, and there is so many of you.
Each and every one of you have brought many things to Jons life, but the unconditional love and care that I witnessed in his times of need is something I will never ever forget. For that I thank you all so very, very much.

I am so glad I got to meet Jonny on my visits to NZ and I will miss not seeing him on my next antipodean adventure.

He is at peace now and I am sure he will always be watching over you. He stays with you in your memories and at night he will be the brightest star.

It is with great sadness that we announce Jon passed away on Wednesday 13 January 2016, in Christchurch after a courageous battle, aged 48 years. Dearly loved partner of Aly and friend to Abby. Much loved son of Sandy* Paice and Lenore and Ray* Jeffrey. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Robert* (Bob); Sandra and Tommy To'omata; Alec; Lynley and Paul. Loved uncle and great-uncle of Tomas, Kate and Marli; Samuel and Lauren; Lillian, Jake and Charlie. A service will be held at the Ouruhia Community Hall, 225 Guthries Road, off Marshlands Road, Christchurch, on Monday 18 January, at 2.00pm.
