Unexpectedly after a short illness and brave battle, Jonathan sadly passed away peacefully and with great dignity surrounded by family and friends at Southland Hospital on Saturday. Dearly loved and treasured son and stepson of Diane and Jason Button and Bryan (Mouse) and Barbara Kelly, adored and much loved brother and brother-in-law of Stacey and Darreen McGimpsey, and Christina Kelly, much loved grandson of Dave and Bev Renton (Nightcaps), and the late Denis (Ned) Kelly, cherished nephew of all his aunts and uncles, much loved by all his cousins in N.Z and Australia. Deeply respected workmate of all at the Kiln (Don St) and all at the ILT. Greatly loved and respected by his huge circle of friends. Jonathan's farewell service will be held at the Ascot Park Hotel, cnr Tay Street and Racecourse Road, Invercargill, on Saturday 26 November, at 10.30am, interment to follow at the Eastern Cemetery. Messages to 130 Bain Street, Invercargill, and/or 136 Princes Street, Invercargill.
