John Norman Phillip:
Suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, May 15, 2018. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Nicola. Much loved father of Belinda and Kurt (London), William and Bella. Dearly loved son of the late Allan and Sheila Young (Auckland). Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Sue and Bruce Collins (Cromwell); Robynne Prosser (Auckland); Sandy and Geoff Soper (Pukerau). Dearly loved son-in-law of Dorothy and Rex McDonald (Queenstown). Loved brother-in-law of Rob and Terry McDonald (Christchurch); Rachael and Damien Keenan (Perth). Loved uncle and friend to Tim, Charlie, Harrison; Simon and Jared Collins, Ben, Mae and Elliot Prosser; Calvin Soper; Laurel, Ben and Flynn De Groot, Harrison, Max, Ben and Harriet McDonald.
John will be sorely missed.
A celebration of John's life will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at 1.00pm, at ILT Stadium Southland, Isabella Street, Invercargill. A private cremation will follow. Messages to 35 Wellesley Avenue Invercargill.
