John WAITE Obituary

Dear Jane and family, thinking of you at this time and sending kind thoughts of all our wonderful memories. From growing up as child neighbours with John, schooling together, celebrating parties and functions and playing tennis and badminton but to name a few, and most important , arranging your first date together..wonderful memories are forever.

The Inglewood Golf Club committee want to acknowledge the passing of John Waite, one of the clubs long standing life members, on Saturday. John spent 25 years driving out from Tarata to mow the clubs fairways and rough on the old gang mowers. These mowers didn't reverse so if you came up against a tree you had to get off the mower and disengage it to push it back. The club extends its sympathies to Jane and the family.
