It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our John, with his family at his side, at Southland Hospital. Cherished husband of Kathryn, and father of Andrew and Justine. Best of Grandads 'John' to Jayson and Jade, Rachel, Daniel, Ruben and great-grandad to Avery. Beloved brother of Marie Tilley, and uncle to Nicola and Annette*. As per John's wish a cremation and private farewell has been held. Sincere condolences on the loss of your precious John. It was an honour to work with him at Tiwai many years ago. He was one of the hardest working men on Crew two and a true gentleman.
