John SCOBIE Obituary

Bertha, I was incredibly sad to hear of John's passing. One of my nicest memories of John was when you were both visiting Mum and Dad in Blenheim and John starting tossing coins into pool for my boys to dive for, when they were little....they had a ball and thought Mr Scobie was just the best
Take comfort from those that surround you and know that you're in my thoughts, hope you're doing as well as can be expected. Big hugs and love always, Kim xxx

So very sad to lose such an awesome guy. Loved the get to gethers with Mum & Dad, the banter & the many things John fixed for them when you ones were over. RIP find Dad for some good stiff gins. Love to all the family xx

It was with great sadness we learnt of Uncle John's passing. We still remember with fondness the yarns he sat and told at our wedding. He was so good at spinning a yarn and I'm sure throughout my life I have never heard the same one twice. Sorry we can't be there beside you at this time but please know our thoughts are with you all.
