ROGERS, John Ley:
On May 3, 2023, peacefully at St Albans Lifecare, Christchurch, after a brave battle with cancer, in his 75th year. Much loved father and father-in-law of James and Jayne (London), Simon and Amy (Melbourne), Katie and Nigel (Sydney), and a devoted Pops of Isla, and Freddie; Sadie, and Walter; Grace, and Henry. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late John Rogers, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with John's wishes a private cremation will take place.

I have fond memories of working alongside John in Gore at the offices of Smith Barton Gray and Taylor in the mid 70s. He was such a character, easy to get along with, and nothing was ever a problem. I'm sure he will be sadly missed.
