In the care of Peacehaven Rest Home on Friday, April 5, 2024, aged 86 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Steven* and Sheryl, and Karen and Phil and a loved Grandad of Thomas and Stephanie. Loved partner of Betty* and friend of Gillian and Syd. Special uncle of Stephen Hart, and David Hart. A service to celebrate John's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Wednesday, April 10, at 2.00pm. Messages to 46 Bryson Road, RD9, Otatara, Invercargill.

Sad that you are gone John, my uncle and the last survivor of my "older generation".
We have had contact on and off throughout my whole life so of course I will miss you. Always there, always surviving another hard knock, always getting up again ready to see what happens next and take it as it comes.
A role model !
