John MCRAE Obituary
After a strong fought battle Jock passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, May 11, 2023; aged 61 years. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Julien. Much loved and devoted dad to Josh and Brittany, and Brad and Taylor. Loved son of the late Ian and Shelagh. Loved and treasured Farm Grandad of Theo. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Steve and Deb, David and Karen, and Helen, and Derek Watson. Loved son-in-law of Jim and Noeline Evans, and much loved brother-in-law of David and Leanne Evans, and Paul and Kim Evans. Dearly loved by his nieces and nephews. Dearly loved nephew of the McRae and Hardiman families. Jock will be resting at home, 11 Flora Road, West Makarewa, until his service. A celebration of Jock's life will be held at Avenal Park Funeral Home, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill on Friday, May 19, at 10.00am. Messages to 11 Flora Road West, RD 6, Invercargill 9876.

So sorry hear Jock lost his battle, our deepest sympathy is with you and your family. We are so pleased we got to catch up with Jock when we were down in Invercargill in March, have a few beers and laugh about the old days. RIP Jock.
