John Dawson (Peakers):
Peacefully surrounded by family at Hospice Southland on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Loved partner of Vanessa, proud father of Ryan, brother of Stuart, Kenneth, and Ray, and their wives. A celebration of John's life will be held at the Gore Town and Country Club, Bury Street, on Monday, September 17, at 2.00pm, followed by a private burial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left for Hospice Southland. Messages to 141 Glendhu Road, RD4, Mataura 9774.

Dear Vanessa, Ryan, Stewart, Kenny, and Ray. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one John. He was my old school mate from primary and secondary school in Gore. Last time I saw him was in the Mataura pub ten years ago. He showed me some photos of us on Stewart Island I think they taken in about 1977. I am sorry I cannot be there to pay my respects to you all on Monday but you are in my thoughts.
