McIVER, John Leonard:
Passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at home, Gore. Loved and cherished husband of the late Avis. Much loved dad of Linda and Colin Watts (Tasmania), David and Jill McIver (Perth), Mary-Anne and Roger Bone (Dunedin), Karen and Oliver Scott (Auckland). Loved Step-dad of Tom and Lorica Horne (Alexandra), Leanne and Tony Latta (Oamaru), Brent and Adele Horne (Gore), Richard Horne and Wendy Prestney (Gore). A much loved grandad and great-grandad of all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved son of Nellie* and George* McIver, and Les* Naylor, and a much loved brother and brother-in-law and uncle. At John's request a private cremation has been held. A memorial service to celebrate John's life will be held in the Athol District Memorial Hall, Athol - Five Rivers Highway, on Wednesday, May 25, at 1.00pm. McIVER, John Leonard:
Loved eldest son of Leonard McIver and Nellie and Leslie Naylor (all deceased). Dearly loved brother of Jill and the late Bob MacLeod (Christchurch), Graeme Naylor (Invercargill), the late David Naylor, Patricia Naylor (Wallacetown), Judy and Allan Stack (Christchurch). John was a much loved and loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews and their children.
