Peacefully on Saturday, 26 November 2016. Loved husband of the late Beverley. Loved father of John (Alexandra), Murray and Helen, and Wayne. Loved grandad to Adrian, Courtney, Ryan, Erin, David, and Michael. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Phillis* and Lyall* Dawson, Valerie* and Raymond Wilson, Noeline Kirkland, Maree and Laurie Stephens (Melbourne). Loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate John's life will be held at the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Saturday, 3 December, at 10.00am. Interment at the Eastern Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Southland can be left at the service. Messages to 150 Tanner Street, Invercargill 9810.

Another cousin gone. Have good memeories of John in our younger days. He and Bev were great country singers in another time. We had great times.
