Saddened to learn of Jack´s passing. Sincere sympathy to Garnie and family - good memories.

I wish to write these few words on learning of Jacks passing.

We were of the same age. Jack hosted me in Winton, and I hosted him in Knowlton, Quebec, Canada. Jack passed on "The Soul" of a New Zealander to me. We shared in a good beer or two. He was helpful to me when exhibiting my paintings at the Anderson Park Gallery in Invercargill.

My memories of him, I will cherish. Keep enjoying things Jack.

Very sorry and saddened to hear of dear jacks passing. just spoke to him for his last birthday in september. My family and I will miss him but remain with many happy memories both in NZ and Canada.

So sorry to read of Jack's passing. We had a lot of fun together in our youth with both Jack and Garnie.
