John CAUGHEY Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, aged 82 years. Surrounded by his loving family. Dearly loved husband of the late Jocelyn, and special friend of Fay. Loved father and father-in-law of Greg and Andrea (Gore), Joanne and Mike (Invercargill), Nathan and Lauren (Albany, Australia), Rachel and Gary (Wanaka). Much loved Pop of Brittany, Reuben, Arden, Jaycob and Shontae, Taylar and Brigitte; Jack, Ella, and Tom; Jed, Eva, and Grace. Much loved great-Pop of Alta and Vienna, Slade and Fleur, Ziggy and Lotti.
"If there ever comes a day when we cannot be together, we will keep you in our hearts and you will stay there forever."
A service for John will be held at Southern Funeral Home Chapel, 106 Hokonui Drive, Gore, on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 1.00pm, followed by afternoon tea. Then leaving for East Winton Cemetery, where John will be laid to rest with Jocelyn. Donations may be left at John's service for Hospice Southland.
