Passed away after a courageous journey, surrounded by his loving family, at Ultimate Care Rose Lodge on Monday, January 20, 2025, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Gloria for 58 years. Much loved father and father-in-law of Linda and Logan, Allan and Norma, and Edwin and Shona. Cherished Grandad of Melissa, Nicole, Hayden, Johanna, Monique, Jacob, and loved great-grandad of his 8 great-grandchildren. John was a loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Family sincerely thank the staff of Hospice Southland and Ultimate Care Rose Lodge for their care and compassion of John.
