On March 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, John went to sleep after a courageous battle. Beloved and precious soulmate of Pamela Anne. Father and father-in-law Andrew and Jackie Beer (Melbourne), Grant and the late Danielle Meikle (Invercargill) and Rachel Beer (Queenstown). Beloved and special grandfather (Grandy) of Ariana, EllaRose, Jake and Scarlett.
