John BAIRD Obituary
It is with deep sorry that we announce the passing of John Reginald Baird (84), who after a long battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in Cromwell on May 17, 2025. Born in Invercargill, John was a loved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandad and friend. He shared 59 years of marriage with his dearly beloved wife Frances Baird (nee Mallon), a union built on love and loyalty. He will be missed by his three children; Justine, Curtis and the late Terence. John leaves behind seven grandchildren whom he adored. John will also be remembered by his seven siblings for his humour, wisdom and steady presence. At John's request a private service has been held. John will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten.
