Jock (Graham George):
208750 BDR KForce 16th Field Regiment RNZA. Peacefully with his loving family by his side at Southland Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2021, just short of his 91st birthday. Loving and cherished husband of Marie for 60 years, treasured Dad, father-in-law and "Jocky" of Virginia (Ginny) and Win*, Graham and Sherilyn, Grayson, Taylor, and Brydie. Loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of the Morton and Finn families. Loved by Adrian and Clare and family. A service to celebrate Jock's life will be held in the Invercargill Christian Centre, Leet Street, Invercargill on Thursday, March 11 at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 123 Scandrett Street, Invercargill 9810. Jock was a fun loving guy always a twinkle in his eye, he would help anybody that needed it and was quite the bbq person . Tahuna motor camp where I first met him late at night arriving from Ch Ch next door to their site ,Jock must have known we didnt have a clue how to manage the sluice bucket etc ,but Jockie came out and helped with the necessaries, that was over 45 yrs ago ,we have thankfully remained friends ever since one of the best ,Rest in Peace Jocky
