HISHON, Jocelyn Ann:
Of Cromwell. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on February 17, 2023, aged 62. Dearly loved wife of Gerry. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Patrick; Nick and Nadine; William; Chris; Alice; and Gemma and Chris. Much loved Granny J to Joseph, Daniel, Naomi and Peter. A much loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Requiem mass will be celebrated for Jocelyn in St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3 Killarney Street, Alexandra, at 11.00am on Thursday, February 23, followed by interment in the Cromwell Cemetery. A family evening prayer will be held at 11 Scott Terrace, Cromwell, at 7.30pm on Wednesday, February 22. In lieu of flowers, donations to Otago Community Hospice are welcome and may be left at the service. Messages to 11 Scott Terrace, Cromwell 9310.

Thoughts are with the family. So sorry to read of Jocelyn’s passing. Taken too soon. I knew Jocelyn in Northern Southland and went on garden tours together and also when our children were at St Kevin’s. RIP Jocelyn. Liz Clark

Loved sister and sister-in-law of Peter Zuurbier, Lida and *Peter Stewart, Nicola Zuurbier, *Afra and Phil Grace, twin sister *Margaret, and Greg Clearwater. Much loved aunt of Michael, Hayden, and Lucy and their children; Nick and Richelle Stewart and Brendan and Andrew Grace. Also a loved sister-in-law to Christine and John Fraser, Carolyn and Laurie Selbie, Nicola Manning and Glen, Peter and Vicki Hishon, Isabel Lawrence, Father Michael Hishon, Karl Hishon and Andrea Soper, Jacky and Ben Johnson, Louise and Craig Kerr, and Nina Hishon. Also best friends Kaye and Alan Derret.
