Joanne Shirley (Jo)
(nee Price):
Peacefully after a courageous battle, on Thursday, May 31, 2018, in the care of Hospice Southland with her loving family by her side. A loved cherished and best friend of her two children; Larissa, and Connor and Omen. Loved youngest daughter of Gordon and Shirley (Winton). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Lynda-Marie and Colin, Michelle and Malcolm, Brendan and Tui, and Alistair. Loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews. Loved best and closest friend of Rae, Candy, Jane, Dayle, Dot, Stacy, and Lyall. Jo will be resting at 143 Ward Street until her service which will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, on Wednesday, June 6, at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Southland would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to 1 Alexander Avenue, Invercargill.
