When my dad was ill in the 80's Joanne was his District Nurse. She was a wonderful person. So friendly, caring & supportive. As well as providing such great care for my dad she was always there to answer any questions my mum had. Joanne went above & beyond for her patients.
Deepest sympathy to her family.

To the Mackay billylids. Have been thinking of you all at this sad and difficult time. We loved going to your house at the island and as an adult realised what a very special person Joanne was. So kind. With love from the Pope kids.

I as a Reg Nurse knew this lovely lady for quite a number of years when we both worked together. We had many laughs together and she enjoyed her work over on Rakiura. Rest easy Joanne. My sympathy goes out to her family. Shona Fordyce alias Min.

Joan was a much loved sister in law and Aunt of Devon family in Wellington. Joan stayed often with us back in the 1950 & 60s. and she became like a sister.
A lovely lady at peace .
Will be dearly missed.
