Joann Nedra (Russell) Ward, age 84, resident of Williston, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. She was born on May 30, 1941, in Lake Township, Ohio, to the late Arthur C. and Julia (Applegate) Russell.
Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her service, which will begin at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joann's name to Perrysburg Area Historic Museum Spafford House, 27340 W. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551; The Wolcott House, [email protected]; or Joann's family.

Condolences to both Vicky and Christopher and families. Joan Ward always had a smile on her face when we would meet up in town or i would visit them at their home in Thorpe End. Fond memories of her and Brian when we were neighbors in Scalford Road. Mum had lost touch with them recently. RIP Joan.
