Joan HAMEL Obituary

(Previously of Te Anau). On June 20, 2023, peacefully in care at Summerset at Bishopscourt; in her 89th year. Loved daughter of Ted and Hazel Hamel, loved sister and sister-in-law of Margaret and Bruce Hormann (Whanganui), and Murray and Allannah Hamel (both deceased), loved aunt of Stephen and Sabine Hormann, Michael and Gill Hormann, and Jane and Jason Mallasch, Sue and Keri Tuna, Raewyn and Dion Rowe, and Nola and Allan Willoughby, loved great-aunt of Louisa and Kristina, James and Robert, Ashley and Paige, Jaimee, Daniel and Tom, Ethan and Jacob, and Brooke and Jared. With grateful thanks to the staff at Summerset who cared for Joan over her time in residence. Resting in God's Garden - A memorial service to celebrate Joan's life will be held in Lakeside Presbyterian Church, 112 Te Anau Terrace, Te Anau at 2.00pm on Friday 28 July.
