Jennifer BARR Obituary

In was with sadness to read of Jenny´s death Trevor, I was thinking of her this morning and I don´t know what made me read the obituaries.
Sending lots of love to you and her adore boys.
She was a wonderful friend and work colleague, I
will miss our birthday and Christmas calls. Rest in Peace dearest Jenny.

My deepest sympathy Trevor to you and the family in the sad loss of Jenny.
We were primary school friends and had kept in touch all those years.
She will be sadly missed by so many.

1977 Robyn and I received walkie talkie dolls for our eight birthday. I remember bursting around to the Barrs house to show them. Mrs Barr was (Jennifer) Amazed with us. She made it feel more magical. Black nood breast print in the lounge in Mitchell Street. How rude. Such the fashion of the time. The beautiful Hens party know days or then Fiona it was an afternoon tea. Class. Allans 21st at the club??? Mum was horrified that Mrs Barr had catered all this on her own and not asked for help. More recently the friendship that Mum and Mrs Barr had together. Mums broken arm. We will always be greatful your Mum drove to Invercargill and was my Mums nurse for days. Our family will always be greatful. Netball Mrs Barr the greatest playing umpiring supporting. So modern and young and loved

To Trevor and family. It was very sad to read of Jenny's passing this morning. She was such a lovely lady and we had lots of good times at Netball back in the day. She will be missed by you all. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Regards Margaret.

To Trevor and family,please accept my condolences to you all. I just rang her phone yesterday, didn´t leave a message. Thinking of years we worked together at Beggs. Hope she´s now at peace.

So saddened to learn of Mrs Barrs pasing. The best neighbourhood to grow up in. Thinking of you all. A dear friend to Mum and so many.
