Jean YOUNG Obituary
Passed away peacefully in Queenstown on Thursday, February 12, 2026; aged 86. Devoted and precious Mum of Fiona and Karina, mother-in-law to Gary and Stevo, cherished grandma (Nanny Jean) of Beccie, Ben, Jordan and Claudia and loved great-grandma of Caahn. The family sincerely thank the staff at Lakes District Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion in her final days. A private service is to be held. Messages may be left for the family via [email protected]. The family would appreciate donations to Baskets of Blessings in lieu of flowers. Jean was loved beyond words by her family, extended family and friends.

Sending my sincere condolences to both Karena and Fiona on your Mum's passing - she reached a grand age and I'm sure you will treasure all the memories you will have gathered.
I remember clearly the times we shared at St. John's school and there were many. She was a lovely lady & always ready to be involved. R.I.P Jean.
