Jean WINNING Obituary

Passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Aged 104 years, 11 months and 8 days. Much loved wife of the late Ron. Loving mother of Sharon and Christine, mother-in-law, grandmother and adored great-grandmother. A loved and respected aunt and friend of many. Jean is the last of six children to pass away of the late John Kennedy (JK) and Elizabeth Morton Stevenson. Thank you to those staff at Rowena Jackson who went above and beyond in their care of Jean over the last 15 years. A heartfelt thanks to Dr Stout. Jean appreciated your visits and care shown to her and for her. There are not enough words to thank the staff at J Fraser and Sons and Winton and Districts Funeral Services. Owing to family travelling, a farewell celebration will be held in J Fraser and Sons Chapel, cnr. Esk and Doon Streets, Invercargill, on Monday, October 20, at 11.00am. Jean has been reunited with Ron at the East Winton Cemetery.

A wonderful life lived well.
