Peacefully on January 3, 2026, at Taieri Court Rest Home, Mosgiel; in her 96th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Noel, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Alistair, Chris and Ross Mitchell, Pauline, Robyn and David Mathieson, loved grandmother of Hayden and Rowan, and Logan; Jenna and Jeremy, Kayla and Darren; Dylan and Olivia, Scott and Jacky, Rhys and Lucy; loved Grandma Jean of her 9 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Jean's life will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 1.30pm, in the Tokomairiro Co-operating Parish, 34 Union Street, Milton, the funeral then leaving for Fairfax Cemetery.
