James Edward (Jim):
Passed away on 12 December, 2015. Leaving behind an amazing and loving wife, Colleen, of 47 years. Sadly missed by Jimmy and Allanah, Micheal and Kerri, and Paula and Scott. Also dearly loved by grandchildren Ashleigh, Jamie, Samantha and Nathan; and great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Iniyah and Ezra. Samantha and Luke, the ''grand-kids'' you never got to meet. The hounds Ruger, Tui and Tussock. A private, family service will be held in Invercargill, on Thursday, 17 December. All messages to 92A Molyneux Avenue, Cromwell. Jim, you have been my rock, my anchor, my love, wouldn't have missed the ride for anything; safe journey and wait at the gate for me, Colleen. Dad, my old workmate; thanks for everything - Jimmy. Thanks Dad for being my inspiration, and giving me the drive to succeed - Micheal. Hey Dad, the knowledge you passed down has been invaluable to me throughout the waves of my life, hugs to our beautiful trees - I miss you, Paula. I wish I got to say goodbye and hold your hand one last time; you will be forever in my heart and thoughts, thank you for making me feel important and loved, and teaching me to stand forward and be heard, love you - Kerri. Jim / Dad / Grandad you will be missed, nothing will fill the void you have left behind.

Dear Colleen and family, l am so sorry to hear of the loss of Jim.
Mr.Jim was such a wonderful person. I remember the time he interviewed and welcomed me to mitre10 Riccarton when I was a student at the University of Canterbury. I enjoyed working with him at mitre10. His inspiring comments, jokes and hard working attitude was a great support to me during my student life. My heartfelt condolenses are with you and your family.
