Unexpectedly at Southland Hospital on August 26, 2024, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of the late June, married for 55 years. Loved Dad of Nicola and Geoff Hinton, Paula and Troy Vasa, Tracy and Andy Yule. Loved G-Pa of Hannah and Zoe, Isla and Millie, Mitchell, Ella and Lucy. Loved son of Walter* and Lily*, youngest brother Jimmy of Audrey* and Jack*, Betty* and Jack*, Harold* and Dot*, Heather and Lyall*, Ray* and Eunice, Margery, John* and Babe*. Loved brother-in-law of Bill* and Ann Shaw, Anne* and Adin Cockroft*. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Life long friends and partners in crime of Betty and Noel Sinclair. A service to celebrate Jim's life will be held in the Avenal Park Chapel, 75 Fox Street, Invercargill, on Thursday, August 29 at 10.00am, private cremation to follow.
