Dear Stephen and family,

I was very sad to hear of your father's passing. I worked for him for a number of years when he first opened his practice in Spey Street. He was a lovely man and I very much enjoyed working for him. We have always stayed in touch over the past 30 years and when I visited Invercargill I always popped in to see him.

Our thoughts are with you and your family at this very sad time.

I had the pleasure of enjoying Jim´s company on the golf course for a couple of years, on Saturday mornings. He was a much better lawyer, and company, than he was a golfer!

So sad to hear of Jim's death.

As a former business partner and friend I have had the privilege of having Jim mentor me in my career. Jim was a very good lawyer, generous with his time, frank in his support and compassionate to staff and clients.
Thank you Jim.

Vale Mr Mee. A mentor to many. Kind, smart and with razor sharp wit. One of the really good ones. You will be missed.
