Thank you for making Neil´s service available on livestream. Wonderful tributes from his family and friends. Neil was my eldest Smith cousin. My mother Honor was Neil´s mother´s youngest sister. I am very disappointed not to be there in Gore today with my 5 cousins, to say good bye to a great guy who played a big role in his son's lives but also in mine. But I am happy with the thought that my very dear Uncle has left us pretty much as he would have wanted. Pretty much self sufficient and independent until the end. There will be some great stories and fond memories shared today, thats for sure.

To the McPhail Boys and family. My sincere condolences in the passing of Uncle Neil. My apologies in not being able to attend his funeral; my thoughts and prayers will be with you all. Uncle Neil had Mana within the family; thoughtful, kind, philosophical. It was a honour and a pleasure to have him as an Uncle. May he rest in peace with Aunty Heather. Love Phil
