James GRIEVE Obituary

Jimmy peacefully left us on Monday, January 6, 2025; aged 87 years. Beloved husband of the late Cathy for 60 years, much loved father and father-in-law of James and Denise (Auckland), John and Lizzie (Cromwell), Elizabeth (Wellington), Andrew (Wellington), Stephen and Nadia (Invercargill), and David (Cromwell), loved Grandpa Jimmy of James, Maxzara, Finnbar, Julie, Madison, and Estella, and great-Grandpa of Cooper. Beloved son of John* and Janet* loved brother of Robert* (Rab), Elizabeth* (Betty), Margaret*, John* (Jackie), Janet (Jeanette), Patricia*, and Louise* (all of Paisley, Scotland).

May he Rest in Peace with Cathy

Requiem Mass to celebrate Jimmy's life will be held in the Catholic Church of Irish Martyrs, 5 Sligo Street, Cromwell, on Monday, January 13 at 1.00pm, followed by interment in Cromwell Cemetery. Rosary will be held in the Church on Sunday, January 12 at 7.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations kindly accepted for the Little Sisters of the Poor and may be left at the service. Messages to 25 Jollys Road, Cromwell 9310.
